ChocChip Biscuits

One of my boys has a friend over to play today so we ‘needed’ morning tea.  There is something very homely and inviting about freshly baked choc-chip cookies! I got into a lot of trouble with choc-chip biscuits when I was pregnant with my 1st baby so I try not to make them too often!  These have about half the usual amount of sugar…

  • 125g softened butter
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 packet choc chips
  • 1tsp baking powder
  • 2 cups GF flour

Pre-heat oven to 180C.

Cream butter & sugar. Add vanilla & egg then mix.  Sift baking powder and flour into the bowl and mix until combined.

Roll into balls and press down on baking trays lined with baking paper.  Bake for 10-15 mins, until brown and slightly ‘cracked’.
