Christmas Nibbles

December 20, 2015 by Annabel Leave a Comment

Here is a super quick post for a healthy Christmas nibble idea…. It’s a twist on dip and crudités… Make your favourite dip, then pipe it into vegetable ribbons. This dip is made from:

  • 1 avocado
  • Lemon juice
  • Spinach
  • Garlic
  • Basil
  • Pumpkin seed oil
  • Macadamia oil
  • Pepitas
  • Hot smoked salmon to top (optional)

Ribbons are made using either the blue or pink peelers. You could spoon in but with the gingerbread house on my mind the piping bag is fresh on my mind too!!

The original idea was to serve it in the shape of a Christmas Tree but it wasn’t really working once it was filled. Looks alright empty….

Dip piped into the rounds .. Should pipe things more often!
In the end I transferred it them to a white plate, scattered some spinach leaves and olives around the end and topped it with hot smoked salmon …

Merry Christmas everyone!!
