This section is all about ‘basics’ or ‘staple’ recipes  – often things that are in, or form the base of many of the recipes that I cook.  They include recipes for things like chicken stock, pesto, mayo, sauces & condiments. Cooking from scratch doesn’t have to be hard or time consuming. Gluten free, paleo inspired and family friendly, even basics can be a little bit fancy.
